The Palace was beautiful, lots of great pictures. That said, getting there was not clear at all. It would have been helpful to have a guide on how to get a bus to the venue, what expectations we could have for the amount of time to get from the metro to the venue and costs associated with it. Furthermore, it's not your fault, I have travelled extensively all over the world and Sintra ranks at the top for tourist traps. The solicitations I encountered form people trying to sell me rides and tourist guides was completely out of hand. Though the palace is very nice I would never recommend someone go there due to the hassle of being accosted by solicitors, the hassle it takes to get there and the pretty outrageous food costs at some of the restaurants.

The Palácio was very beautiful and the support team very kind and helpful. But we couldn't get the transportation to go to the palacio's enter I think only one bus that go to and from the palacios isn't enough for the requeste!

So glad we had tickets ahead of time. The only way to go. And they were very gracious when the traffic was terrible and we got there 15 minutes late. They still let us in. Do you allow extra time for the traffic going up the hill. We had a great driver who took us actually off road and got us there much more quickly.

The skip the line was worth it but the palace itself was extremely small and over-crowded which I don't think made the price of the ticket justified.

I loved the experience, the visit and Sintra un general. Regarding the app, Iit was a little bit confussing. To get the ticket for Pena Palace you had to download the app, but then it was relatively easy to get to the ticket. But then for Regaleira it redirected you to anothe website where you had to download the ticket from, eventhough it was a combined ticket. Anyways, the general process was great

Please note that the attraction may be crowded, expect a considerable wait time.
Note that you must enter Pena Palace (not the gate, but the Palace) at the time slot assigned to you, or you may not be able to access the venue.
Please note that you will have to enter from the house tour entrance and not the main gate.
The path from the entry to the Park to the Palace is around 30 mins walking. This ticket includes the entry for Pena Palace only. Do plan your visit with enough time to arrive at Pena Palace on time.
There is an expected wait time of 15-20 mins at the entrance/security.
Kindly ensure that you arrive 15 mins before the start time of your tour to avoid any delays.
Please note that access to this monument is not authorized to private vehicles. It is recommended to use the pedestrian trails available or public transportation.
You can park your car in the historic center of Sintra or the peripheral car parks available.
If the transport option is selected, the transfers included for this experience are between the main entrance of the Park and the Palace.
Pena Palace is in Sintra, about 30 kilometers from Lisbon.
There are parking lots at the park entrance but may be limited depending on the number of visitors.
Reduced price tickets for children aged 6-18 and seniors aged 65+ are available onsite.
