Prado of course is good but no photo allowed even without flash? Too strict. Been there before and it was allowed. Been to other museums all over the world and photos using phone camera without flash is allowed. Part of the experience in the 20th century is taking some photos of favorites memorable experiences. We are frequent museum visitors with GenZ visitors too. And to attract young people too this must be considered.

Prado museum was excellent and a highlight. Really enjoyed. Booking was easy and good value for money. The hop on/hop off bus was convenient, with plenty of stops but the stops weren't clearly signposted and the map is graphical so it was difficult to work out where they were. The audio information was simple - could have been a bit more interesting. And it would have been good if the bus route was in reverse as well.

I appreciated the opportunity to view the museum at my own pace and without feeling cramped. I thought the single Picasso was odd among the classical paintings (I didn't use the audio so that may have been described). I had a few things I prioritized seeing so when I got there those rooms were mostly empty. Good experience overall.

I wish we had had more time in the museum, but we bookd it last minute. To see that many Goyas and Velazquezes in one place was really wonderful. I hope that we have a chance to come back to Madrid and see more of the museum.

These tickets are valid for an extended duration. The exact details will be present on the ticket.

A cultural landmark

The Prado Museum is a site of huge national and global importance. Occupying an 18th-century neoclassical building, the museum is home to over 20,000 works of art. Including 7,500 paintings, 8,000 drawings, 4,800 prints, and 1,000 sculptures and other artworks and historical documents.
