Ir was on time . Easy place to find. Very close to the event the amount of people in the tour eas not big so the group was manageable.

Knowledgeable guide and the amazing city views from top of Duomo. The climb wasn't bad at all with plenty of spaces to catch your breath.

The tour started late. The tou gtoup was waiting in the hot sun for 30 -45 minutes. I was unaware that there was a security check. My hat strings, audio device and hand bag straps were tangled together. My hand bag was opened during the security check. After the securiy check, my wallet was stolen. The guide rushed me through the security check. The guide was upset that I was slow with the security check. The whole tour felt rushed. The guide was impatient. and unhelpful. She also was not concerned that my audio device was cutting out. Very stressful tour.

The tour was a bit superficial with few facts, of course it's hard to meet everyone's expectations in a group, but I would have hoped for a bit more information/history. Organizationally, however, everything went very well and she was very nice!

So easy to locate the tour guide who was knowledgeable. No waiting in lines. He was also able to explain where to go for the other parts of the ticket. Absolutely worth the 463 steps for the view!

Climbing the Cupola

At the end of the tour, your guide will lead you to the entrance of the Cupola. From here, you can climb to the top and discover it at your leisure. Halfway through your journey to the top, you will get to see the magnificent arched fresco of The Last Judgement by Giorgio Vasari. What to bring

Note that the climb to the top of the Cupola takes 463 steps with no elevator access. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes.

What's not allowed

Strict Dress Code: Clothing that covers the knees and shoulders. Sandals, headgear and sunglasses are also not allowed.
Shutterbugs, take note: Flash photography is a no-go inside the venue.
Leave your luggage and backpacks behind. Only small bags are allowed inside the museum.

The Dome climb is not recommended for people with vertigo or heart conditions.
The Dome and Bell Tower are not accessible for wheelchair users and are not recommended for guests with mobility issues, or back problems.
