The Story

The story is set in the romantic Montmartre Quarter of Paris, in the late 1890s. Christian, a struggling composer, moves to Paris’ famous Montmartre district with the hope of becoming a part of the Bohemian movement. One day, he discovers his neighbours are a troupe of performers led by Toulouse-Lautrec. On finding out that Christian is a writer, the troupe goes to him for help with their proposed show. Christian helps them finish the show, which the troupe hopes to sell to the owner of the Moulin Rouge, the most famous cabaret in France. At the Moulin Rouge, Christian meets Satine, the star courtesan who has been promised to the wealthy Duke of Monroth. Christian and Satine fall in love, but must hide it from the evil Duke. Can this unlikely couple escape from the clutches of the powerful Duke and live happily ever after? Or will fate have a role to play in this dramatic story? We had an unforgettable time, the theater is splendid, the sound is top-notch and the actors extraordinary. The show moves in every direction for over 2 hours and you don't even realize it. We were lucky enough to go to the real Moulin Rouge in Paris, and we found the same spirit. The show remains relatively faithful to the film, and even as a non-English speaker I wasn't bored for a second, and the story is clearly understood. I highly recommend this show, it's divine ..... For us it was an unforgettable experience, the actors were great, the stage design was fantastic and the choice of songs was excellent, all in all an excellent production 👍🏻👏👏🥳

These were the cheapest tickets I could find and there was no scam. I was a little worried because the tickets are sent out quite late, close to the show date, but apart from that, everything went perfectly. Despite the lower price than on other sites, the seats were good, and we saw and heard everything. Great show, we loved it. However, if you want to have a drink at intermission, be warned that it's very expensive ($42 for 2 glasses of lemonade and a small packet of pretzels...!).
