If you only want to see around Tokyo, this is great option. Bus stop is about 5-10 minute walk from tourist attraction which is great. But the general route will not allow you to get off to with more than 4 stops to enjoy the attraction and not miss the closest schedule of pick-up. Manage expectation about the maximisation of entire hop-on-hop-off experience.

This was a fantastic way to site see and we used it twice, in Kyoto and Tokyo. Would have used it in Osaka if we knew earlier. Will be recommending to all our familiars.

Last bus at Mitsubishi building was too early, couldn't connect. Ticket purchase was smooth. Wished all stations are sheltered so we don't have to be in the rain & sun.

The wait between the 3 routes was way to long, an hour or more. Lots of time was spend idle. The last bus on the green route was earlier than expected and this also disrupted planning. In addition is was unbearably hot and was a heath hazard. A temporary shade netting would have helped

Important Information

The audio guide is available in Chinese, English, Spanish, Japanese, German, Korean and French.
Seats are not reserved for the Sky Hop Bus. Depending on the congestion at the bus stop, you may be asked to fill up your seat.
Traffic congestion may cause the bus to be delayed.
Passenger seats are only on the second floor, the first floor is for storage.
There is no air-conditioning on the bus, the bus is an open deck.

Tokyo Tower

Children aged 0-3 can enter free of charge.
Coin lockers (charged) are available at Tokyo Tower Foot Town 1F.

Raincoats will be distributed if needed. Note that the use of umbrellas on board the bus is prohibited.
If the weather is severe, as in the case of typhoons or thunderstorms, the tour may not operate.
The hop-on hop-off bus does not work with reservations. If there are no free seats on the bus, please board the next bus.
Standing is prohibited while the bus is in motion.
