went well . .but did find frustrating having bought tickets online having to queue for long time to collect tickets , rather than having a QR code on phone

It seems to me a waste of time to get tickets online, but when you get to Pompeii you have to get them there, and therefore have to queue anyway. The management in that sense is lousy The rest very well

Pompeii is impressive, but we lost a lot of time with the issue of the tickets that had to be validated in the same line where they were purchased, so we did not understand the service.

Beautiful sites, amazing architecture good amount of people, good time to go at 1800 (6 pm). A little slippery & had to be cautious.

It was very easy booking the tickets. I even was able to go to the very front of the Pompeii entrance and they transferred my tickets over that I bought from the app. My family and I had the absolute best time.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes as the tour involves a fair amount of walking on uneven terrain.

Strict dress code: No discourteous clothing or shirtless attire is allowed inside Pompeii Archaeological Park.
Big dogs (above the weight 10kg and the height of 40cm) are not allowed into the venue. Guide dogs with the proper certification are welcome.
