We took the shuttle bus to the site and saw the Stonehenge very near. They can provide the wheelchair when required. We've booked the tickets online, so we no need to queue up the line. The staff are very helpful and answer our questions very clear.

I enjoyed visiting the site, however, the car park was a disgrace with huge pot holes and uneven grounds. We didn't see any toilet facilities. We also were not offered headphones for information. Signage to point you in the right direction was not clear. We initially thought we had to walk along the main road. Happy to contribute to heritage but these tickets are definitely over priced!

The ticketing was quick and easy upon arrival. We enjoyed our tour of Stonehedge, although it was an extremely cold and windy day. We appreciated that there was a shuttle bus to get us to the site.

The Stonehenge site has to be a must see for anyone traveling to England !! The drive up had beautiful views of the countryside. Stonehenge itself is mesmerizing. While there you must visit Salisbury just down the road !!

Booked a ticket online and then only queued for a few minutes. If you walk there, take the left-hand path next to the road. Stonehenge is very busy, but you can still take good photos. 10 out of 10 points!

What's not allowed

You will not be allowed to enter the Stonehenge Circle itself. This is due to the restoration attempts and the relative instability of the structure. Your Stonehenge tickets allow you to access about 10 meters of the monument.

Getting There

Take a train from London’s Waterloo Station to Salisbury
Trains from Waterloo to Salisbury every half-an-hour from 6:30 AM and the quickest train takes 1 hour and 22 minutes
From Salisbury, there are dedicated buses that take you to the Stonehenge
No public transport routes go towards Stonehenge and as such visitors must take the special tour bus
