Loved Casa Batllo! The audio (a physical piece of equipment which you received upon entering) was synced with the venue so it was easy to walk through the beautiful house and listen to the appropriate clip at each station. Also, there was a bar with tables and chairs available on the rooftop so we were able to extend our enjoyment of the house with a cocktail and shade. Park Guell, on the other hand, was not so easy. First, I bought three tickets. The audio was embedded in the e-ticket. I sent the link to my guests and neither of them was able to open it and listen. I could listen and there was some great information about the park but not in any particular order so we meandered aimlessly and it was challenging to find the audio for where we were. I was very excited to see there was a house previously occupied by Gaudi that was a museum but I needed a separate ticket for that and it was sold out for the day. We managed to arrive at the correct entrance gate. (There are four.) However, I did see other reviewers mention that they arrived at the wrong gate and were denied entrance and by the time they found the right gate, their window of opportunity to enter had passed and they were denied entrance and no refund.

I was really pleased a reminder email was sent as I had got my dates wrong. This gave me time to get to the park in order to use my ticket. I agree the approach to the park is very steep and would cause problems for people with decreased mobility. The park itself is wonderful and well worth a visit. There is a clear route marked out to follow which means you do not miss anything. The views from the top are spectacular and the Gaudi buildings are unique and beautiful. It can get very hot so take plenty of water. One nice touch was musicians playing music at various points it was very atmospheric. Of all the places in Barcelona this is a must on your visit list.

The park was nice, but the worst part was walking up hill in such heat from hop on bus station to the main entrance. Then we had less energy to walk in the park, so we had to skip some parts.

There is no good phone reception in the park so I couldn't listen to the audio guide. The park is nice, but not worth the price of the ticket, or at least they should include Gaudi's house, which you pay separately instead

The attraction may be crowded so please expect a considerable wait time.
Pro Tip: There are 3 entrances that allow you to enter Park Güell and they are located at Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya (which you access by going up an escalator and even then it's pretty steep), and Carretera del Carmel, nº 23 (where the parking lot for coaches is located).
To avoid stairs and climbing, take Bus #24 or a taxi to the Carretera del Carmel entrance, which is just 200 meters away from both the bus stop and the monument area inside the park. The walk is mostly flat.
