No shade or signs up.the acropolis. We've been to.many archaeological places around the world and sadly this was disappointment. Learn from the convenience in Masada in Israel

As soon as we arrived there was no Internet connection. I went to the ticket office and the first employee I spoke to was unable to help me, he referred me to another colleague who was fortunately more knowledgeable and helpful. To download the tickets they had me connect to their wifi and so we were able to get in. Of the audio guide not even a shadow.

Going early I think was key. It was crowded but we were very comfortable. No overcrowding. Impressive Acropolis. We loved it

The tickets included an audio guide for both experiences. At the Acropolis we were informed that they did not have audio guides. Then at the Acropolis Museum, they told us there was only an online audio guide whereby we had to use our own headphones. I was not told before hand that we needed to bring our own headphones so we weren't able to use the audio guide. Very disappointing that I thought we were getting audio guides but didn't. All other major tourist attractions in Europe include audio guides with their own headsets should anyone need it.
